Bridgeport Steel garage doors come with a limited life warranty on the paint system, a 10 year warranty on windows, and a three-year warranty on hardware.

Insulation options include 2” or 1-3/8” Intellicore® polyurethane or 1-5/16” vinyl-backed polystyrene. Insulated door R-values range from 6.3 to 18.4.

I am extremely happy with our new Bridgeport Steel Garage doors. We have a 3 car garage that was in desperate need of an update. After some research we decided to go with these through our rep at Home Depot Bob in Oxford Valley, Pa. Bob made the entire process a breaze and was a pleasure to work with. The installer that came out got here at 8am and was done at 2pm the same day. Very professional and they did a great job. That same day Bob from the store even called me to see how I liked everything. I am not used to that type of service at a big box store! 5 stars all around. A simple phone call like that goes a long way with customers.

"Solid door and super quiet"
We had a few Bridgeports installed that had the 18.4 r-value. The woodgrain looked fantastic and the overall appearance definitely increased the curb appeal of our home. They were extremely quiet! The only problems we had were the springs that were shipped with the door were wrong so the installing company had to swap those out but otherwise we had no issues.

We purchased a simulated painted wood door about six years ago to replace our real wood door. The wood door was just too much upkeep with the sanding and varnish every couple of years. The Copley door looks like real wood with no sanding or varnishing required. I was worried about the paint fading but six years later, it still looks great.

"ugly fake wood, beveled edges like moulding"
Thought this door was going to be simple shaker style flat panels but it’s not. The fake wood grain is large and ugly looking. The inset panels have beveled detailed edging like moulding. Major regrets.

I had a similar experience to the other review on this page that references the lack of traditional shaker design and mismatch between the visualizer tool on the website and the actual doors. I “designed” two new 10 foot wide doors on the site and read the product PDF fully before having my contractor order it from his garage door vendor. The doors that came look nothing like the visualizer-produced image. The border trim (stiles) are much too wide. I understand now this is because there is a standard recessed panel width (42”) regardless of the width of the door but that I could not find that detail on the documentation anywhere other than the notation of the window dimension. When I contacted Clopay, the rep said there was a QuickDraw tool on the product page that would have showed me the dimensions of the design and that I should have asked for the precise dimensions from the dealer. When I went to the website to look at the tool, wondering how on earth I missed it after spending a lot of time on the site, I discovered that the QuickDraw plans for this door are dated 5/21/21 and I had ordered my door in early May (16 week lead time) so I don't believe that feature was available when I ordered. I also noted that there don't appear to be any 10-11ft doors in the gallery of images on the site. Also, I added a close up of the “shaker” trim because it’s not exactly what I was expecting, though I could have lived with it if the rest was as I expected. I'm very disappointed in this purchase.

I am providing 2 stars for the fact that the door seems sturdy and is quiet, but I completely regret ordering this door.

We are happy with this door so far. It’s a shame it took us 10 weeks to get it. (Pandemic issues). The door looks great, so much quieter than our 20 yr old door. The installation went quickly, very efficiently done. We’re hoping this door will last at least 25 yrs. hope we stay this satisfied with it.
